About Brady
New to Drafting. Not New to the Work.
I'm a BCIT-certified drafting and design technician — but I didn't walk into this industry cold. Before I picked up AutoCAD, I spent 15 years building things with my hands.
I've framed walls, poured concrete, handled steel, and built everything from earthships to environmentally designed homes. I spent a decade in forestry health and management — supervising crews, coordinating with government agencies, managing contracts and deadlines, and adapting plans on the fly when conditions changed. That's not a different career. That's the foundation for this one.
What I bring to the drafting table isn't just software proficiency — it's spatial awareness from years of physical construction, the ability to visualize a plan in three dimensions before it hits paper, time management sharpened by seasons that don't wait, and communication skills built from working with everyone from landowners to municipal regulators.
